The Opéra de Lausanne is setting out on its first summer tour in the Canton de Vaud. We are going out to meet the public and invite you to follow us in July to the towns that have agreed to welcome us to their stages and enthusiastically take part.

Riccardo, governor of Boston, loves Amelia, the wife of his loyal friend and secretary Renato. A humiliating coincidence brings the fact to the attention of the husband and although the adultery has not been consummated, he joins up with some conspirators to assassinate the governor at a masked ball.
