Àngel Òdena

Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor)

Àngel Òdena studied at the Tarragona Conservatory, the Accademia Lirica Mantovana and with Gérard Souzay and Eduardo Giménez. Winner of several Spanish voice competitions, he made his stage debut in concerts and oratorios with the main orchestras of his native country. He has performed in most of Spain's theatres including the Liceu in Barcelona and the Teatro Real in Madrid, but also in Berlin, Amsterdam, Toulouse, Orange, Verona, Turin, Florence, Palerma, Naples, Bologna and New York.

His repertoire includes works of Verdi such as Un ballo in maschera, Aida, La Traviata, Attila, Macbeth, Nabucco, Il Trovatore and Don Carlo, as well as performances in the verismo, German and belcanto repertoires. He recently performed in Otello, El gato montés, Falstaff, La villana and Tosca  in Spain's greatest theatre houses.

Current projects: Madama Butterfly in Madrid et Rigoletto in Barcelona.
