Lenneke Ruiten

Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor)

Lenneke Ruiten studied flute and voice at the Hague and in Munich. She has been invited to perform at opera houses in Paris, Milan, Bruxelles, Stuttgart, Vienna; at festivals in Aix-en-Provence, Salzburg, Edinburgh and in particular at the Mostly Mozart Festival, where she has played Mozart roles such as Konstanze, Pamina, Susanna, Fiordiligi, Donna Anna and Giunia. She has also performed the roles of Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, Ophelia in Hamlet, the title roles in Iphigénie en Tauride and Iphigénie en Aulide, la Folie in Platée, the title role in La Petite Renarde rusée.

She has sung with the Vienna Philharmonic, Les Musiciens du Louvre, the Orchestre du XIIIe Siècle, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, the Staatskapelle Dresden and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Christian Thielemann, Marek Janowski, Helmut Rilling, Frans Brüggen, Ton Koopman, Marc Minkowski, Emmanuelle Haïm and Iván Fischer.
