At the Opéra de Lausanne : Prosper/Alphonse in La vie parisienne (December 2005), Figg in La veuve joyeuse (December 2006), Trénitz in La fille de Mme Angot (December 2010).
Trained as a pianist Frédéric Longbois has presented several recitals : La fesse cachée de la lune, directed by Clémentine Célarié at the Loup du Faubourg, the Théâtre du Sentier des Halles, Comédie de Paris, the Théâtre de Saint-Gratien, the Théâtre de Bois-Colombes and the Théâtre de Dix heures. He has composed the music and song for Sylvie Joly’s show La cigale et la Joly as well as a large part of the songs on her next album.
In the theatre, he has appeared in Irma la douce at the Théâtre National de Chaillot and at the Opéra Comique, in La belle et la toute petite bête at the Opéra Comique and in Madame Sans-Gêne at the Théâtre Antoine. In China, he has toured with a production about Paris, Paris-Piano with Sébastien Pépin. He has also played the Prince of Mantua in Fantasio by Alfred de Musset in the gardens of Versailles, directed by Stéphanie Tesson.
In the cinema, he recently appeared in Sans queue ni tête by Jeanne Labrune alongside Isabelle Huppert, and in Mécaniques célestes by Fina Torres, Ça ira mieux demain by J. Labrune, La chatte à deux têtes by Jacques Nolot, De battre mon cœur s'est arrêté by Jacques Audiard, the short film Huit by Clémentine Célarié, Molière ou le comédien malgré lui by Laurent Tirard. On the television, he acted in Clara Sheller and Sa raison d’être by Renaud Bertrand, Milady, directed by José Dayan with Arielle Dombasle, Sagan by Diane Kurys and Mon oncle Sosthène by Gérard Jourd’hui.
He works very regularly with Jérôme Savary and has taken part in numerous operas: La vie parisienne at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Opéra Comique, the Opéra de Lausanne, La belle Hélène in Avignon, La Périchole at the Opéra Comique, La veuve joyeuse at the Opéra Comique and in Lausanne, Carmen 2 at the Opéra Comique, Don Quichotte at the Théâtre de Paris. He also took part in the show directed by Jérôme Savary Boris Vian, une trompette au paradis at the Théâtre d’Amiens. In December 2009, he was in L’étoile by Chabrier at the Grand Théâtre de Geneva. He recently played Peachum in the Opéra de quat’sous by Weill in Reims and Metz, as well as in Paris Frou Frou by Jérôme Savary at the Théâtre Déjazet.
