Katharina Beth

Debut at the Opéra de Lausanne.

Katharina Beth worked as a fashion designer after she studied for three years with different Italian designers. She then worked as an assistant for several opera and theatre productions in Hannover, Potsdam and Berlin.

Since 2001, she has been designing costumes for the directors Wolf Twiehaus and Marcel Luxinger, and the choreographers Jochen Roller, Felix Marchand, Irina Müller and Rosalind Crisp. She has also worked with the dancers of Sacha Waltz and Luc Dunberry.

For the opera Drei Schwestern by Péter Eötvös, she worked with Gabriele Wiesmüller, director of the Théâtre de Koblenz. She worked with Marco Santi and created the costumes for the choreographies of Oedipus at the Theatre of Osnabrück and Pasolini at St Gallen Theatre.
