Katrin Hieronimus studied architecture and interior design in Düsseldorf and at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. She created her first sets in 2003 for Berlin’s Schaubühne. Since 2004, she has worked as an independent stage designer.
During the 2008-2009 season, Katrin Hieronimus was in charge of equipments at the Théâtre de Constance. She has participated in many theatre projects with directors such as Wulf Twiehaus, Enrico Stolzenburg, Marcel Luxinger, Anja Gronau and Uli Jäckle, and on cinema projects with Jörn Hintzer and Jakob Hüfner. Recently, she created the decor for Drei Schwestern by Péter Eötvös directed by Gabriele Wiesmüller. With Marco Santi, she has worked on Les Chambres, Bernarda Albas Haus, and Oedipus in Osnabrück, as well as Pasolini in Saint-Gall.
