Opéra de Lausanne

The opera has been running workshops for school pupils in Lausanne and Canton Vaud for the last seven years with the aim of introducing pupils to opera productions in the company of the people who bring our theatre to life.
This is made possible by the cooperation of the services of the Direction de l'Enfance, Jeunesse et Education of the city of Lausanne, Vaud Canton and the Pro Scientia et Arte Foundation.

From October 2012, students will discover a brand new opera with modern technical equipment, on stage and behind the scenes!

They will have the chance to come face to face with the different trades of the opera. A stage hand, a lighting technician, a props specialist, a make-up artist, a wig-maker, a costume designer and a singer with their pianist will share their knowledge and passion with the children on the opera stage. Discoveries and surprises guaranteed!
